With Sainsburys who done free breakdown cover. 739 aged 27. 2 years NCB and 0 points in a high risk area.

Don't even need the breakdown since BMW provide it!

Tried Sainsbury's but nothing special.

36, 8 yrs NCD, 0 points. AXA are quoting £240 ish with my wife as named driver. I'm happy with that!

We have just had the same with LV that they insist on the tracker.

We ended up with BMW as they are very good about going to europe as where LV. Which we do alot and at short notice.

Great shame leaving LV as when we had a claim and a breakdown they had been excellent and fair to deal with.

In all fairness if the Z4 goes we dont want it back after some scum bag has been out playing with it. Si why fit a tracker and have the extra cost .

I remember seeing an Insurance company offering you insurance and a tracker for free. The downside was you got your driving style monitored. So if you dashed away from the lights then your premium rose, if you went over 70 on the motorway then your premium rose. If you drove like a granny then your premium lowered!

Took out our insurance with AXA last night, and going to phone LV today and cancel. Did wifey's as well, out of protest!

We will lose this years NCD cos the LV policy has 3 months to run, but I'm not worried about that - and I'm more of an old fart and want to make a point! The extra year NCD is only worth about £20, so I'm not fussed.

It is a shame, cos when we renewed last year, LV were the cheapest by a few hundred pounds, but I've found out now that AXA are even cheaper.

Like you Victory, if the car gets stolen, I wouldn't really want it back, cos it would never be the same...although, admitedly the insurance company quite rightly want you to have it back!

Keith - exactly, who would want big brother watching you like that! I pointed out to LV that my car has the pro sat nav, which can be found (if I press the SOS button, the operator will know where I am) using the cars systems, but that isn't good enough for them.

Bet they'll whinge when I cancel the policies. Should get 3 months refund (-£35 cancellation fee) on each.

Even so our 6 year old Combo van, worth maybe £2,500, costs more to insure than the Z4. I don't use the van for trade, just SDP and commuting.

WTF????

Me to. 35iS with Directline £300, Scabby 9 year old van SDP use only £600.... WTF :?

Directline have been very cheap for my Z and no tracker required either. Although your postcode might play a part in this.

Didn't you try Adrian Flux Kevin?

I 'm with them on the Z3 and have the 1er Policy with them. Went with them as theyre mod friendly and didn't hike the premium when I added bits to the 1er.

Tim.

Couldn't try everyone! Settled on AXA last night as they were quite a bit cheaper on both our policies. Cancelled the LV policies today and told them exactly why.

useful to know with AXA, will see what Adrian Flux come up with when swapping the policy over, I'm hoping they will be OK.......if I ever get the Z4

Tim.

AXA seem to be pushing hard for new business at the moment.

Big campaign going on locally round my neck of the woods.

Just be very wary come renewal time.

Renewal time is the same with most of them...they get you in with cheap price then try and sting you at renewal, so I'm onto this and will shop around again at the time. I think they own swiftcover as well, cos the name swiftcover pops up in the documents.
