What I read was that no EV battery caught fire. If it had, it would still be burning now in any case.

I wouldn't believe everything you read ..... I can't see that None of the 1500 cars that went up in flames were neither hybrid or EV so lithium batteries would definitely help fan the flames.

The cars would have burned but apparently not the main batteries. Guess they have more protection around them for non accident related burning.
