Hi Guys
When i start my 2006 Z4 2.0 its really lumpy for a couple of seconds and then it clears and runs fine, only done 27000 miles but has been stood over winter, ive done about 400 mikes in it in the last week, any ideas what could be causing it
Id also check the air inatke boot- comes from the back of the airbox to the engine- small hose that comes off it cracks and lets air in at wrong fuel to air mix.
Mine runs lumpy too, but once it gets up to temperature. its fine when its cold. :? And like yours Barney mine has also been on the road for the winter. Could it be vanos seals????
My 2.0 roadster ( yes I'll say it again my roadster) used to do this at 18 months old and 13k miles - was normal and smoothed out once up to temp - I quite liked it really !
