No issue at all, I'll bring it with me when I pop over which I guess will be soonish?

I'm based in Frimley at the moment for work so I'm not even that far away!

Aye I know but that costs an extra £100 which I don't have spare currently :(

Not sure where that came from or if thats normal but i didnt have to shed out an extra £100 to use one of his spare wheels. That would of turned me away too!

Looking great Luke love the wheel and the lights. I am actually swaying towards tinting mine and removing some ginger!!

Did you really not like the alcantara one? I was thinking of getting mine done in that stuff?

That is music to my ears mate!!! No one likes ginger on cars!! (except maybe Rob!!) and take those silly french fries off!!
Jack showed me some of the newer alcantara wheels he has done which look GORGEOUS!! Both the black and the dark grey, lovely! BUT there is more maintenance with an alcanara wheel, always needing clean hands otherwise it stains, needing to be treated etc... I would be scared of ruining it! Plus personally to me the feel whilst driving i just didnt like :|

100% happy that i went with the leather one

Drove home with something missing this afternoon...!

Needless to say I didn't finish this yet!! I have tomorrow afternoon off now so will get the new subframes made up and fitted!

Big question is how on earth do I fit the harnesses?! I've searched all day to find a post ich I remember reading about someone on here installing them, but can't find it anywhere!

May put a strengthening plate on the bulk head then pop an eye each side to connect the harnesses to. Anyone help with a link to someone fitting harnesses and where? (Seen a few coupes with a bar but can't really do that in a roadie!)

First time I've seen this thread. Damm Luke you have been busy

Car looks great mate. Now I don't know if I should ask this because I know it's gonna cost me money but how much did your steering wheel cost to trimmed like that.??? :headbang: :headbang:

Got my steering wheel back yesterday from Royal Steering Wheels,£120 which includes delivery

To people saying alcantara wears badly and quickly have never owned it. Suede not he other hand really does wear bad and in a few months. I have the m sport wheel in mine and love it along with alcantara seats. Car looks great, looks like mine but lower, very brave!

Just picked up
1x TV TUNER WIDESCREEN AMP 6911221

Thanks to mac for the constant updates on his!!

I'm gonna add better aerials but when it gets a good signal it's good.

No TV in motion but can listen to the news or such which is better than the radio! I'll pm you some tips for TV fitment

That looks great mate! A handy PM would be brilliant! Only way I can find to connect the cable at the min is to take the centre unit out along with the nav drive to get to the back :(
Gives me an excuse to carbon fibre the dash and bits at the same time though!!

Got these through in the post today...

Thought I'd go through my 'To Do' list...

Passenger side seat install
Fit Coilovers
Fit TV module
- Apple TV (1st gen) install
- Reversing cam install
Carbon Dash
Instrument Cluster LED Change
Fit Parking Sensors
Fit Keyless Start/Stop
Purchase New Smart Key on same MHz as Z4
Change Pedals
Front air Intakes to filter box
Re-gut exhaust and finally hang the right hand side properly
Get NCS Expert working properly
- Finish coding rear lights
- Re-code audible lock/unlock
- Stop LED flickering
Figure a way to increase brightness of the rear light strip? Not that it's bad, would just like it a little brighter!

Luke, when you code the car for the back lights it will make the brighter as they are running on 6v currently. I have navcoder so can sort out tv in motion.

Good to know mate  if you can sort the TV in motion that would be spot on!

I've started on the dash this evening

Decided I'm just gonna strip everything (inc centre console on Monday) which will force me to just do it!!

Centre console was a right sod to get out! Think it's harder if you have the cd changer and nav unit in the cubby.
The metal part is held on with a ridiculous amount of bolts too once you get it out! More than what holds the car together I think

I want audible locking on mine! Also want my front amber drls coding on. Don't know how too. Or have anyone I know up here :(

Front amber drls? If you install an intravee you have a choice of what you want as drls, that's how I have my led halo rings on as drls.

That stupid clip aswell on the front dash was a beast to get of!! The one at the back of the dash by the air vent! I couldn't pull the clip off so after 10 mins of trying I just pinched it together and pulled the dash out which did the job! More clips than I expected!

Pyramid I've got the cd changer and Nav so expecting it to be a bit of a headache!!
