Luke and his Z - Getting there!

definitely needs a couple of bypass pipes on there to get the nice deep rumble at idle. it looks the part though.

I'll put the first one on on Wednesday and test what that's like. If still not quite enough I'll put a second on!

Thanks for the comments chaps!

Looks great Luke about bloody time!! I was starting to worry about you.

Try 1 bypass pipe mine is starting to sound better and better. I am not sure i am going to another in now.

Haha! I know mate, it's taken a while to get round to it! Worth the wait though! You got yours all sorted now? Your tips seem to be flying out the door too! Good work mate!

Its a quick job to get the box on and off now so it won't take 15 mins to put the bypass pipe in. I've already got the pipe ready  I'll keep just the one pipe for a month or so and then go from there.

I'm dead excited to get the spoiler done! To be honest that was what I was most looking forward to seeing :( I've waited this long so another week isn't going to hurt!

Not sure whether that is a good idea? That would mean you would have less backpressure on 3 cylinders? Or is that solved with the cross-flow?

Buffed it up nice and shiny!!! Came out really well. Spoiler and lights next from the paint shop. Hopefully will be in before the end of the week

Looks great

But you may find the exhaust tips are too near the M bumper, more so the far left tip coming off the muffler

I managed to 'melt' a small section of the bumper from having my enlarged tips too near

Thanks! yeah I am still to finish the alignment of them which I will do soon as I can. Tge right hand bracket just needs to be pulled right slightly which will pull both tips right

Love that!

The fitment of the bumper with prefacelift lights is not at all bad.

Looking really good Luke. If things start getting hot or melting i could knock up some kind of heat shield for you.

My refurbished again wheels and new tyres go on Friday :) I will get those bits made and ready for next weekend. I am going to the midlands meet on the 28th might be an idea to meet there? I will brig tools and fit them in the car park.

Oh my. Rear bumper looks cracking, front bumper looks cracking.

How much did you pay for the front bumper? I can't seem to find one with fogs and grills for an OK price!

I actually need a quad now.. damn you! I want slightly smaller trips, but other than that it's perfect.

If you go for larger diameter tips then a deeper note will be produced

Mac (neil) and I have the exact same custom muffler but mine has a deeper note due to wider tips

Really? I didnt think the tips would have any affect on this?

Could it be as yours has more mileage? Mine was so quiet at first, but now has a much deeper rumble.
