Luggage Net Fixings

I've had the luggage net http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Genui...o-Safety-Net-E85-Z4-51470301592-/170909769997installed for 6 months now and I've found it brilliant as I've not got the side storage nets but.....

I removed the net to have a look to see if I had an amp next to my battery and the one fixing disappeared into the hole :( so now I'm left with this.

All I need is the threaded section and the rubber fixing bit so I don't really want to spend the £35.89 for a new one. Does anyone know where I can get just the bits I need or another way of fashioning a fixing?
 
The fixing is not available separately from what I can see.

You may be able to weld/glue a similarly sized nut to the hole in the bodywork where this fixing fell through and then use that to screw in to. Not very elegant but it should work.

In all honesty I think a metal S shaped hook into the hole would've been the best fit in the first place. I think I may have found all the bits I need as the rubber fixings seem to be popular in the caravan world!

I can get a luggage net from home bargains for £1.99 yet the bits I need to fix mine are looking like close to a tenner :thumbsdown:
 
Do you by a chance stiil have the car and the luggage net?

Can you please tell the net dimensions and also of its metal fixings?
