Lucky Day -- 77,777 miles

It was a lucky day for the Zed this afternoon. After some careful planning and timing, I had my camera with me to take a picture of the exact moment. 77,777 & 777.7 miles :dance2: GP20 even rode along with me for the remaining 40 miles today. I guess this only happens once in a car's lifetime, so I thought this was worth documenting. Here's looking forward to 88,888 & 888.8 :D

And a few exterior shots after hitting the mark. It's been a while since I've posted pics, but since then I put in custom Angel Eyes and Blackout Grills. GP20 turned me to the dark side with that one

A few more from the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville.

The car certainly doesn't look like it's got almost 80k miles.

And you forgot to introduce your new mod :D

Hehe, cool :D

So did you make the angel eye headlights yourself, like CJ, or can you buy them pre-made in the US from somewhere?

Shame it wasn't 11 degrees F warmer! And a very nice looking Zed you have there mate

Thanks! And as a matter of fact, it WAS 77-78 degrees the day before, and I really wish I would have taken a pic then. I just didn't have time to drive around the extra 50 miles, and was also hoping this day would be the same temperature. Oh well.

I retrofitted the angel eye's myself. following CJs how-to. The CCFL rings were purchaed from ebay, and then (with a deep breath) cut open my headlights and went to work. It's one of those projects where you really want to take your time, and luckily I still had my original amber-lens headlights which I used as temps while doing the AE work. I wired them up to stay on constant with ignition, and to the domelight as well so they fade in/out with the remote door unlock function (fun to play with :D ).

They are M6 replica wheels, size 18x8 +38 offset all around. I also added a 12mm spacer on the rears for a wider stance. If you are looking for more pics, there should be a few GtG threads in the Gallery forum that I have posted to with GP20 and Rick Hunter (whom also has M6 reps in 19" staggared fitment).
