Lubricating the various pulley wheels-

andysat

Hi all-after taking my zed to my indy today with the airbag light problem, I asked them to get the car up to temp and listen for a squeak noise-obviously wasn't there from the drive there  -when I picked it up they said the noise never happened while there :headbang: -then it happened for a couple of mins sat in traffic on the way home  -but had stopped by the time I got home. Is it possible to lubricate with anything behind the belt(obviously keeping said lubricant off the belt)?-sorry for the Friday ramble.

Remove the belt , check tensioner and idle pulleys fit new belt would be the route . All bearings are sealed .

Is it a chirping or squeal

Best way I can describe it is - a regular whistling every second or so, had a look for air leaks, nothing obvious -no lights on dash.

No idea tbh .... Maybe take both belts off one at a time and run engine (if that's the general area) and see if it goes away ..
