I’ve gone with Quaife twice..no regrets but maybe others are more cost effective..?

I drove down from County Durham to Birds Auto a month ago to have a Quaife dif fitted to my 3.0si. It was a round trip of 500 miles & I can say without question it is worth every penny. In the past when I was out having fun on country B roads the traction control was always kicking in on bends. This was due to fitting BC racing coilovers, H&R ARBs & PowerFlex poly bushes making the car a lot stiffer. Most of time I would turn the traction control off, but this would make the back end real lively.

Since I've had the Quaife dif fitted the traction control has not kicked in once. The car gets the power down loads better through bends.

I also got them to change the gearbox oil. The total bill came to £1,670.

I wanted piece of mind knowing that the job would be done right. It's a family run business that's been working on BMW's for a very long time. I only wish I lived closer cos I would use them every time I need a expert to work on my pride & joy.
