Lowest Excess £350!

Hi

Just to note, got a quote from CK today to compete with my Adrian Flux renewal.

The lowest excess they could offer on my car was £350 compulsory.

I've stayed with AF with my £200 excess.

Why has this been set so high?

Try Grove and Dean 250 quid insurance with 1 year non claims cheapest I could find for 2.5 auto 2003 zed

The excesses are set by the insurers on our panel and they've each deemed £350 to be desirable on some of the higher group or higher value Z4's (depending on the actual insurer). That's not a new thing and it doesn't help us much either of course.

Yes, I'm with Chris Knott (mainly because my car has a non-standard exhaust and they were one of the few who could deal with that) and I have a compulsory £350 excess.
