Hi have some lowering springs both rear and front

They came in the same box and I don't know which orientation and wether they fit the back or front

2 x springs are much bigger than the others

Also on 2 of them part of the spring is more compressed than the other part, just wondering which way they are supposed to be fitted

I'm sending this off my phone,so no pics :/

Cheers

the short little fat ones go on the back.

although without wishing to sound like Marius (I think it was him, if not apologies) you may not be best undertaking the task personally if this is the first question you need to ask...

Fitted plenty of springs but never lowering springs where they could are more closer together on one end.just a bit thrown by that.
So now that's solved, are they most compressed part of the spring to be installed at the top

you should be able to tell when you take the old ones off, fronts are trickier, I've done rears on a couple of cars.

Looks something like my H&Rs maybe?

The two on the left are front springs and the others are for the rear. You can also see on the marking that it says (F) and (R)

oh dear

The tighter one with more coils is for the rear. The little wide spread ones are for the front.
You will see which way up they go when you take the Old ones out. On the rear the rubber spring cups only fit on the springs one way so that helps decipher which way up

You'll need a spring compressor for the front or you could jack up the front, secure with axel stands then remove the complete spring and shock absorber and take it to a Garage

You need to undo...
It's 3 small nuts accessed under bonnet above the wheel arch
Large nut which is low down on the suspension which just clamps the shock in place
And a thin linkage bar that you need to undo
Use a little jack to support the disc and be careful not to make the brake hose taught so support it aswell
