Your rear looks way too high, I'd suggest getting some Eibachs pro springs and fitted. You could do just the rears but fitting them all round will look spot on.

Is there any way to check if it has replacement springs.. cars done 45k now so it is a possibility

Yep, some of the aftermarket ones aren't progressive (spring is the same thickness tip-to-tip). The factory ones are thinner at the tips and also have distinctive markings. A quick Google should show you what these look like.

Just as I suspected then! Now go purchase those Eibachs and get yourself a good looking stance. You definitely have a better ride too, especially with them being progressive.
