Looking to lower my alpina, however not been able to find any springs that are listed for the car..contacted eibach they said the have not tested any with this car...

Same issues with coilovers - apart from one brand..I forget the brand but costs near £3.5k!

Any help appreciated.....

As good as Intrax are, I somehow feel bc's or d2's may be a better solution for yourself if you specifically want to go down the coilovers route.

Just out of interest how does an Alpina compare in standard ride form to say M Sport suspension or even an M model.

Intrax was the brand.still £3k +..

i cant find any other coilovers that says they will fit the alpina..

The rear setup is the same as the 3.0l E85 so anything that fits that should fit the RS, the OEM front has Alpina specific spring/damper rates but people have fitted things like KWv3 without any fitment issues although KW do advise that the Alpina engine is slightly heavier than the 3.0l engine and suggest that the KWv3 will need a 60N/mm spring rather than the 50N/mm spring supplied in the standard (non-M) Z4 kit.

AIUI, the upshot is that any coilover kit for the 3.0l E85 should fit, and all you really need to do is check the Alpina handbook for the front axle loads and make sure that the front coilover rating covers the load. Worst case is that some kits may also need you to fit some 10mm-ish wheel spacers
