Lowering my roadster

Hi, I'm looking at lowering my 2.2i roadster (2004 69,000 miles)
I'm still debating between eibach and h&r but my main question is do I also need to change the dampers?
If so what dampers should I go for?

Some pictures of your lowered zeds with the set up you're running would be great
 
Lots of people lower without changing the dampers and have no issues. I've had 2 zeds and lowered both - no issue with the first (75k miler), popped the front shocks on the second (45k miler), so its just one of those things you need to accept might happen if you decide not to change them.

If you've got the cash to change both shocks and springs though, I'd deffo recommend it - Bilstein B12 kits is good value (Bilstein B8 shocks and Eibach springs) and should given you around 20mm drop.
 
I used to run H&Rs with 18" wheels lowered 30mm

I not run KW Coilovers on 19" and the ride is awesome.

I would defiantly change the dampeners at the same time, Mine had covered 60K and where fooked, not even moving once compressed.
 
As above, it's a good idea to change the dampers at the same time but not crucial.

For both of my cars (KW V2's for the coupe, BC Racing BR for the roadster), I opted for new all around just to rule out any other short term issues as well as having dampers valved for shorter springs.
