Welcome to the forum!

I think it does look pretty high with the standard springs. Changing the springs is easy enough to do yourself with a few tools, there are plenty of how tos here to show you how. Springs vary a lot in price! My lowering springs cost all of £28 from Germany! But eibach springs are around the £200 mark though
Here is a link to some on eBay as an example... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z4-E85-2-2i-2-5i-2-5si-3-0i-3-0si-Eibach-Pro-Kit-Lowering-Springs-/290779975193?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item43b3d64e19

I say change the springs and away you go! :D

Aero Kit looks STUNNING by the way

Your car looks great with the aero kit and alloys! Any more pics?

I'm also using fk springs and they were easy enough to fit.

cheers guys im feeling alot more confident about changing the springs now, i was about to order the eibach springs just before i posted this but i though id check first, but ill look into the fk springs too.

i think this image shows the need for lowering springs abit more!

Might Help- photos and write up of Pawnsacrifices drop on a 2.5 with an aero front

love the full Aero - used to have it myself

marius i think yours is at perfect ride height,so all i want is the gap between arch and wheel minimized, unfortunately the roads around me wont allow me to slam it on its arse.

im taking it to the ring as soon as im happy with the visual and structural condition, so im planning on putting my monaco pro's that i was ment to put in my last car, but didnt fit them due to getting the Z4 a week after

so ive just got them sat here in my house, and i figure i payed for them so i might aswell use them for a while
so are my stock seats going to be a bugger to remove and disconnect from the heating and airbag?

luke the 19's fill the arches perfectly, but that creates more problems because my black 18's disguise my embarrassing stock breaks at the moment, so that issue will addressed after the adventure

After fitting my 19s I definitely need to lower the car, so have just bought a set of Eibach Pros for £199 delivered from JJC Race & Rally here

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300811633924?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

...cheaper springs may be ok, but I've had Eibachs fitted to three BMWs and they have always improved the ride and handling over aged standard springs

Seats look good. I am looking into putting some in mine shortly and from research I've done you will need a bypass module for the airbag sensor on passenger side. Something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FITS-BMW-PASSENGER-SEAT-OCCUPANCY-BYPASS-MAT-SENSOR-AIRBAG-E46E36E34E39E31E38E60-/281053116241?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3ABMW&hash=item4170123751 which should do the job.
Make sure the battery is disconnected though before you start the process otherwise the airbag light will flash up and you'll have to get that seen to :)

you don't need anything , once seat is removed you don't get any faults, my passenger seat was removed numerous times so i know that for fact

No error code with seat out either? I remember you had to take the seat out to get your wheels in right?! :D no errors from that then?

good tips guys! ive decided to go for the eibach springs and put the monaco pro's in, As im just dribbling over these images of slammed Z's, it really does make all the difference!

Eibach is the right choice: perfect drop, sharp ride and still comfy:

I do feel however that 199 quid (EUR 230,-) is slightly overpaid. I recently bought mine via ebay.de for EUR 147 (less than 130 quid) here: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Eibach-Pro-Kit-fur-BMW-Z4-E85-E10-20-010-01-22-/300854839754?pt=DE_Autoteile&fits=Model%3AZ4%7CPlatform%3AE85&hash=item460c5889ca#ht_6351wt_990.

They do international shipping, to Holland was EUR 22,-. If I were you, I thus would ask them for a quote as well, will potentially save you a few pints ...
