lowering just the front 5-10mm?

I'd like to lower just the front of my car 5-10mm & I'd prefer to keep the OE dampers and springs but I'm not tied to that. Is there any simple way of doing this or is it going to need something custom?
 
Msport suspension springs give a slight lowering for a standard Z4 . These are the Msport springs rather than the Z4M springs to be clear
 
Differences between Z4 sport suspension and non-sport suspension

- sport has lower ride height (0.6")
- sport has stiffer springs and dampers that are valved for these springs
- sport has thicker sway bars

You should be able to purchase the springs seperately
 
I want to reduce the gap between the arch & tyre, or rather keep it the same as it i now but moving from 235/40R18 to 245/35R18 tyres. Tried the latter and the front looks a kind of jacked up.

I was actually thinking maybe I'm asking the wrong question. Should it be is there a device which lets me incase the rear spring height by 10-15mm?
 
You can get spring assistors that sit in the coils but these are really for caravanners, trailer towing etc, you can feel them when they're in and I imagine they'd really screw the ride up on a Zed. The old way was to cut half a coil off to lower a car but it's a total bodge. Why don't you look into some properly custom made progressive rate springs to your own height spec, I had some made for my old xr3 and they we're brilliant, gave a lovely ride without being crashy. Try a few places and you'll find someone to make them, they often will give you some sets to try as a guinea pig if they aren't making them for your car and you should get a final set for free. An old mate used to run Shocktactics in Dewsbury and he had springs made, I'll give him a buzz and ask where if you want as I can't remember where or who they we're off hand.
 
The Eibach pro-kit for the 35i/is e89 has an advertised 20mm drop on the front and 10mm drop on the rear. We've run these for over 3 years on our 35i and they give a compliant ride and balance out the wheel arch gaps nicely.
 
That's plan b. That'll drop the front lip of the car a total of 40mm total if I add I the splitter I'm intending.

That could make for some careful negotiation of car park ramps and speed bumps :)

That 20/10 mm drop is from non-M-sport.

Drop with M-Sport is 10/0 mm.
