Depends on labour rates i guess....

I reckon with if an apprentice whipped off the wheels and refitted them i could probably fit the springs in an hour,so dont let any garage tell you its a huge job..

I can't believe my indy, who claim to specialise in german cars, told me it was "at least" 2 hours per side for the fronts! he was gibbering on about having to compress the springs when I queried if I could double his quote for all four. even sycamores quoted £620 inc VAT and that was supplying two front springs - anyone know what 2 front sport springs retail at?

Yes of course the springs need changing involving a spring compressor,but its easy and quick enough..

Funnily enough i lowered a Lupo GTi for my friends daughter..Its pretty much the same job as a Z4..

I did it with no help in 48mins for all 4 corners..I was rushing to see how fast it could be done.
 
A local fitters tried to tell me it was 3 hours' work quoted £380 :lol:

Full set of pro Eibach I imported from Germany £140 all in, delivered in 2 days.
 
Over £100 and hour +VAT..?

I wish i could get that kind money for fitting them......I would be a very wealthy man.. :thumbsup:
 
This was a place called Fast Fit Station. There are a few branches in this area. Like a posh Kwik Fit :P Nice set up actually for what it is, but I guess they didn't want the work :P
 
I guess someone has to pay for the big workshops and flashy reception area's...

That would be the customers then!
 
Their M.O. is the most simplest. Very low cost MOTs and servicing but expensive remedies and repairs. Of course most will pay just to get back on the road.
