I think if u can source e46 coiovers and there the same do that as Z4 prices seem to be silly for parts. decent coilvers for Z4 is like £500 u can get ones for £250 which are decent on e46's. I used to be a massive cut corners type and go for cheaper springs option on all my cars. When you have coilovers though you realise why there more you get that horrible bounce with springs as you have basically shortened the travel so the damper now doesn't work as well with the spring. Its a cheap way to lower for looks but doesn't really help handling whereas coilovers do the car will feel 10 times better. Bilstein and spax have decent coilovers for Z4. Another thing to consider don't put lowered springs onto your old shocks just wasting money as shocks will need changing too they will be very old. By the time you paid £250 front shocks £150 rear shocks £100 lowering springs your at coilover money anywayPaulj100 said:
