Lowered Coupe owners help needed please!

Im currently running some Gaz Gold coilovers on my 3.0si which i managed to get quite cheap, but they are made for track & fast road use. I want my wheels to sit nicely in the arches which is why i originaly went for coilovers, but if i lower these to whether i want them the car is impossible to drive properly on B roads. On A roads they are perfect but as soon as I hit a B road I have to slow down considerably or have the fear of the car throwing me into a hedge after a tiny bump.

What i need to know and see with pictures if possible is how your coupe sits, with a message saying what spring/shocks/coilovers you are running and what size wheels you have. Also how it handles on the B roads

Im currently running standard 108s but will upgrading to 19s early next year so what ever wheel size you have it would be nice to see

Cheers for the help

dubsesd has his dropped around 60mm on coilovers. Looks amazing (for a coupe :poke: ) and apparenlty rides good too. They must have smooth roads where he lives

cheers for the replies! i thought there would be a little gap with Eibachs :( im wanting it a little lower so may have to find some less harsh coilovers

Id love to see this coupe thats dropped 60mm  has anyone got an pics of it?

I fitted Eibachs last month & didnt get the drop expected ! Car drives better nice & tight but if you want a nice stance dont think Eibachs are the answer. May be better if you are running 19" wheels . Will post pics later. :driving:

Ride comfort is a function of multiple things, not just ride height. It'll also depend on the spring rates and shock's dampening.

I'm lowered approx 1" and I find the ride to be very compliant (and I use this mainly for track)

That's because he doesn't live in the UK... my sis lives in rural France. All her local roads, however small, are beautifully smooth. Where I live most of the roads are worse than the surface of the moon.

I reckon car manufacturers should test the cars out on my road...! :headbang:

Cheers for the pictures Dubbedown! Thats exactly how Id like mine to be sitting, but unfortunatly the British roads dont go that well with stiff suspension.

Looks like ill have to comprimise on either ride height or my speed on the B roads.

By the looks of it springs aint an option as they dont lower the car enough so its just going to be coilovers.

Cheers for the input guys
