Lower Wheel Arch Inspection Panel

Evening all,

Could someone shed some light as to how to remove this? It looks so flipping easy. I know I am just being thick because the method doesn't even get mentioned on here!

It looks like the two screw/clips are undone to the stop position but nothing budges in any direction.

Not sure where to go from here, daren't pull too hard as it may not be road crud.

Try turning them the other way ? If they do break they re only a few quid from the stealers, but thy re quite bendy.
 
That's the thing... I turned them fully in both directions and the panel felt just as solid!

Do I just twist harder?
 
The outside edge of them isn't completely round. There is a flat section which needs to line up with the outside edge of the arch panel. If that makes sense? As others have said, it's pretty flexible and so if worst comes to worse and it still won't budge, give it a little help and bend it slightly then you can fiddle round with them after :thumbsup:
 
Thanks guys.

Luke - it feels like the 2 screws don't actually hold the panel in. When I loosen then, it's as if they are still providing a mechanical purchase on the panel rather than being sticky.

I will have another bash later
