mr wilks said:No saying you will have rub with the 225 40s mr T , anything under et 35 is past borderline but as we have seen before there are other factors to consider such as age of shocks + springs & if the arch liners have previously been out they rarely go back as factory .
Make of tyre & whether full 8mm tread or part worn also has a effect as some makes are distinctly narrower fit than others ( eg Hankook + Falken narrower than Conti + Michelin )

The fronts have at least 6mm Iain! It will take a bit longer to scrub them off. :roll:Mr Tidy said:mr wilks said:No saying you will have rub with the 225 40s mr T , anything under et 35 is past borderline but as we have seen before there are other factors to consider such as age of shocks + springs & if the arch liners have previously been out they rarely go back as factory .

At the moment they have the dreaded Bridgestone RFTs, but with just 4mm tread probably not for much longer!
