Are you aware chaps that the auto has a much bigger open area, basically the whole of the grille, whereas the manual has a smaller area, squared off at both sides.
So in theory you could fit an auto one to a manual car, but I would hesitate to fit the more restrictive manual one to an auto.

Stuart, from Martin’s description my spare might be for an automatic, although it was fitted to a manual. It’s a little damaged and held on with cable ties but you’re welcome to it for the cost of postage.



For comparison, this is the one pulled off your breaker for me.


Although I am a little confused as I remember OBY having one the same as in the first picture.

Just looked at the part number on OEM. My spare grille is a post-facelift , no wonder it’s held on with cable ties. What a bodge

Yup, just went out to check mine and the pre-facelift auto has the same amount of open area, but no strake through the middle.
