low profile jack deal

I was getting really hacked off trying to balance my car on bricks etc to get it high enough to get my trolley jack under it so decided to bite the bullet and buy a new low profile jack

I came across this one and thought other members might be interested

I also went for the axle stands as halfrauds 2 tonne stands are listed as 2t for the pair (1t each),are more expensive and these have an added safety pin
 
Thats a brilliant price, i got those jack stands and they are the business... i was lucky they cocked up the shelf pricing at halfords and let me have them for half price :-)
 
i have been thinking about getting a low profile one myself for some time now! May just get these.. with the axle stands aswell as even though i have axle stands at the moment they dont have a fancy ratchet action.

Have you just ordered it? or have you used it already? just want to know how good they are! and will it fit undered a lowered Z?
 
Arrived today and fits under my 3.0SE with room to spare . The only downside is it doesn't have a carry handle

Can finally get round to painting my brake calipers
 
Well more of a bonus, noticed the telephone number is Derby!

I got mine today... Its very good indeed... Picked it up from the place and the fella there was a top chap, esp letting me pick it up when they were closed!

No handel is a pain... But for the price still a bargain.

What is the handle sitting on the box,looks like a jack handle or is it for another jack.I have never heard of a jack being sold minus a handle.

I mean a carry handle to pick it up! Its pretty fricken heavy too; so should have one.... It comes with the bar to jack it.
