Yep my Z hasn't moved for two weeks now, my company Passat is taking a beating in this weather.
 
Z4 tucked away for the winter - Snow tyres on the disco 3 - wonderful!

The only downside is I have to take my daughter to work each morning 'cos the stuffs so deep.
 
We had a further 8" overnight last night - measured the depth on the neighbours car roof at a genuine 15", and that's all fallen over Sat night / Sun / Sun night. And it's just started again lol.
 
Drove to Edinburgh from Glasgow yesterday and back today. Was absolutely fine until I tried to pull in to the underground carpark in Riego Street, Tollcross yesterday and got stuck. Fortunately a nice man gave me a push. Unfortunately, he'd just parked his Discovery and worked for Landrover. He was quite self-righteous about the whole thing (in a nice way!)

Had another wee incident this afternoon at the Bothwell castle carpark where it took me and my friend half an hour to get the car going in a straight line! Home now, thankfully.
 
Mines sat at Eastern BMW, and I can't see me going to get it any time soon at this rate!! The street I'm in builds to a sharp incline to the t-junction at the top so the only way out is either those lucky enough to have copious amounts of traction or floor it at the bottom of the hill, close your eyes and hope for the best. I tried creeping up it earlier in our Focus (annoyingly on quite heavily worn summer tyres) and it's going nowhere. The chances of getting a RWD automatic back down that hill gracefully is zero. Even if I got close to home the front bumper would be dragging along and building up a nice wedge in front of me.
 
Three words - "Global warming sux" :)
I was reading the Met Office website earlier today and couldn't help but have a chuckle. One story was "Met Office provide more evidence of global warming in Cancun". The next story was along the lines of "Coldest November on record" and 'earliest snowfall in 17 years' or something like that

I've noticed they don't say "Global Warming" when its cold - thay say "Climate Change" They only use the "waming " thing when its hot in the summer!

Yes, Winter = COLD Summer + HOT

They must think we are so dumb!
 
They do indeed, but then if you were sitting on the greatest taxation excuse of all time then you would probably perpetuate the myth too! Makes me very, very mad! :evil:
 
Only "Very Mad" - add a bit of anglo saxon expletive for me and you might get closer!

My Disco is seven days past the cutoff point in march 2006 - If I hadn't dithered around before I bought it, the tax would "only" have been £245 ish - ie same as the Z4!

Somebody said that it was Guy Fawkes who was the only man to enter parliament with true intentions!
 
Now that's got to hurt, I know that when I go hunting for my next car I'll be purposely looking for a pre-March 06 model if I can find one suitable, it must have a little bit of knock on effect on the values of the really high C02 vehicles.
