Looks like a great spec for someone looking for a mint MC.

Forgive me for asking as a newbie but why do Z4M coupe's command such high prices, you can get a face lift model for less than that!

the coupes do seem to be at very high money at the mo - I guess if you want one you have to pay

the ones at really high money seem to be very low mileage - they are ageing very well

Rarity - only 550 M Coupes came to the UK
Last BMW available with the amazing S54 engine
Better looking than the face lift and a proper coupe
It's a proper M model, which isn't available in the newer car

The facelift (E89) model and older (E85/86) models shouldn't both be called Z4. Completely different cars really.

Anyway what Sutts has written is pretty much it. The Z4M is much more driver focused than the newer facelift models.

Are these high prices actually being achieved tho? It's all very well asking for this type of figure but unless they sell its pointless. However if the price of M coupes are actually rising in real terms it can only be good news for the 3.0si coupe owners too as ours become even more desirable as the M's move out of some peoples price bracket.

Hmm that's a view point which I like ! A good argument at sale anyway.

Interesting point.

But yes I believe the ///MC's are selling at high prices.

They have never been quick movers, and I don't the prices have jumped up £5k over 6 months, but achieved prices do certainly seem higher than they were over the past 2 years.

The white ///MC at auction for example sold for £22.6k reportedly.

All that extra money - for less :poke:

Does look like prices have stabilised on both MR and MC this year - but number of cars means the market can swing quickly - only needs a couple of people to need to sell and the prices can come down for a while or go up if good ones are hard to come by.

Time has been kind on the MC - and people are keeping them.

Less? We have a roof for starters

That's not going to achieve that price at all.

A nice advert and a lovely car but 5k over priced .... :?

With all the rarity and the beauty of this car, i struggle to understand how one can pay this over a Cayman S.

Id go for a Z4M for the sheer lunacy of the car, but for driving ability and a track oriented manifeto, the Cayman is hard to beat.

I had a look last night and the front and rear tyres appear to be different heights (ie the rear tyres have too high a profile), perhaps it's just me...

Think it's just you. Not sure what the diameter difference is between the front and backs though. Would guess back could be slightly bigger.

It is nice but top money and a pet hate of mine non matching tyres, why oh why :o

+1 tyres should match on a nice car.
Not a safety issue but attention to detail.
I was the same with my bikes always ran with matched tyres
