Well, woke up at 6am to stunning sunshine, bit nippy but a great spring morning, so I thought... why not. Roof off, heated seats on, heated wheel on, heater on, hat on... superb long-way-round blast through the lanes to work, rinse and repeat on the way home. Creamy 6 pot engine pulling strongly, Springsteen on the stereo, and a beer at home to look forward to!

Doesn't get much better. Grin inducing day :)

Just thought I'd share...
 
Very similar here... Merc stayed at home, roof down on the Z to work and back, now settling in at the pub with a Guinness ...
 
Every opportunity to have the roof down I say 8)

When I have company in the car though people seem to question why when the suns not out, some of the best journies can be had when it's a bit crisp or overcast. No sunburn :lol:

Same for me, other than hat / seat heater (I have both but not cold enough!). Lovely day and great to enjoy the good weather!
 
I feel guilty asking now - sorry.

I hope you get fixed up with something soon - I've been in similar positions over the years gone by, so I know it's a tough time for you and your family.
 
What is this thing you talk of, sun?? It's been hammering it down here for two days so no roof off for me and I even decided that as it was so wet the Zed was staying at home while I went to the dentist.

If it had been nice it would have been a lovely drive at 7am as the roads were dead and my dentist is away out on the coast.

Maybe today the weather may actually be nice and I can get out.....:thumbsup:
 
I think it's my fault !
I decided to de-sorn the car on April 1st - I've only had one day out since 'cos the weather has been rubbish.
