Love Thy Neighbour

I would buy a really cheap car that's old enough to be except from road tax and insure it on a limited mileage, third party only policy so it's almost free and I would park it outside his house permanently. I would also make sure he knew that it was mine. If it was a disgusting, rusty heap of crap then all the better :evil:

I'm incensed by my neighbours but I've given up and I'll move as soon as I can. If the wankers are reading this then I'm amazed but I'm past caring...

A friend of mine is a builder who lives on the same road. He has a flat bed truck. :evil: :evil:
 
I can't see what your getting up tight for.The person has explained the reason behind the letter,I know the dates are incorrect.
If they are telling lies and not having work done then it's fair enough to get annoyed,just wait before escalating the situation.
 
You're entitled to park there, What if you'd been away for 6 months. You'd still be entitled to park there. If they needed the space then maybe they should've planned ahead and blocked off the space before. Looks like poor planning to me!
 
Plenty of absolutely knackered rust bucket JCB's around for beer money, drag that bastard outside his house, take the fuel filter off it and let him try to shift that. 2 days......what a miserable git.

Really? That was not a nice friendly note. Do you think it was? I actually spoke to his neighbour and she said he is horrible and doesn't like any body parking outside his house. And how am I inconveniencing him on any way? And I'm not up tight, I just stand up to bullying pricks and tell them what I think of them. I would never dream of doing what he did. But we are not all born with the understanding of common decency as you are personifying :poke:

If you really want to p**s the neighbour off, I'd suggest parking a car infront that you don't really mind getting scratched, certainly not your Z4!

Parked my car infront of his house for a day because there was no space infront of mine. Next day I had a nice little conversation with him at my doorstep. I agreed to move my car once space was available infront of my house. Once there was space infront of my house, I moved my car. Then I just simply parked my nice big white work van infront of his house so that there was half a cars length free space behind and infront. The next conversation, as you could imagine, was even more delightful...
 
Personally, I would move the car away when you get the chance. But make sure that you speak to him/get something written down if you have some sort of management committee. There's no need for that kind of attitude . i'd be looking out for scratches too. Oh and park it under a camera.
 
I'm lucky in so much as I bought my house off plan and was early at the sales office . Chose the house I wanted in the location I wanted and and with parking for six cars on the drive.
Other houses have provision for two cars on their drives.

i have a neighbour like this - believes the road outside his house is his (including anything within view), and a no parking zone. He also has a double drive and garage, and only one car, so isn't based on access to his vehicles; he has dropped kerbs and no-one has ever blocked those. He has called the police out to move an ambulance that was attending to another neighbour, threatened his neighbour across the road, and taken photographs & video of people parking so he can report them. Popular guy.

He's even spoken to my wife when we had building work done, as one of the builders was parked on the road opposite our house (not even his). He's only done that once though, as when I got home we had a frank discussion.
