Me and wifie bought a new 2003 2.5. The car was mostly a garage queen. It served it's purpose well. We drove it on weekends. Fast forward to 2007 and a Porsche Carrera entered the mix. The 911 got promoted to garage Queen and the z4 became my daily driver. The car was OK, but I never really loved it.
Anyway I decided to buy this Griots polisher. I wanted to test it on the Z4 and not risk messing up the Porsche. I clayed, polished, and waxed her. Spending those hours on her allowed me to really fall back in love with this car. I start dreaming of buying a new front bumper (M type). Thoughts even strayed toward some new rims and tires on her. The car is stock, and I have never spent any money on repairs, so I am thinking its time to dress her up.
Well since falling back in love with her a few weeks ago, my bumper money went to stealership for two new window regulators. Now the little red battery light has shown up on two occasions. I still had the original battery, so I replaced that with one from AutoZone. I know that will not cure my battery lights. So I driving her daily again and see if I can get that battery light to stay on so I can diagnose the problem.
