I cancelled sky films and got both Netflix and Lovefilm on the free month trial... went with lovefilm in the end the family preferred it and you could watch different films at the same time on different devices around the house.. everybody happy...!!

I didn't know you could do that

I'm told by making some changes to your dns settings you can get access to the US Netflix catalogue although I've not tried this.

Netflix!!!!!

we have it and it has absolutely tones of stuff on there, and its a fixed price of £6 a month no bolt on stuff and no other complications, and they are adding stuff as they go :)

I used Love film online 2 years ago and it was terrible imo but that was because it didn't do what I wanted it to then, but things may have changed :P

I have love film it's ok actually it's really quite good. But since I have had the zed. And the wife enrolled us both at the gym. I have not used it much. So my advice is get modding and get a chiseled body

Or like me just try and keep the belly from getting bigger!!!!

I have been with Lovefilm for a few years, pay £9.99 and get unlimited films through the post two at a time and then all the stuff I can watch via streaming. The downside is that there isn't a vast choice of films to stream and they are fairly old. The downside to the post service is that I have to wait a few months to get those new releases due to demand and sometimes I can't wait, Skyfall for example and pay Sky an extra £3.99 to get it early which kinda defeats the Lovefilm aspect.

What I would really like is to stream new releases for the £9.99 even if it were limited to say 10 films a month I would be happy at that price. Now if Apple did a subscription service that allowed me to download HD quality via Apple TV I would sign up in a flash, but oh no they want to charge £4.49 for that privilege

I cancelled Sky Sports & Movies on my Virgin Package and got Netflix for £6 and Unblock US for £3. Unblock lets you choose between 10 Netflix locations. I watch via numerous Apple TVs. The main reason I got it was to watch Breaking Bad. I've since watched all of Battlestar Galactica and quite a few other things. Not sure if Netflix is as good for movies as Lovefilm.

Depends which one you go for... lovefilm instant on the Xbox was shocking when I trialed it. The DVD renting service is much better though.

Netflix is good if you're into TV re-runs, loads of BBC/C4 series on there, and fair few modern films too.

Also have a look at NowTV which is provided by Sky... really been enjoying that, and they add new recent films regularly. Its more costly at £15 a month.

As above, a very limited amount of ' quality' streamed movies and I don't think this will change anytime soon

I was on LOVEFILM,
but now i just download BlueRay films as Torrents and play them from my iMac to my TV via the Xbox 360 through our Wifi at home. Works amazingly well

There normally available with in a day of release, quality is normal BlueRay quality, if not atleast DVD quality, but its easy to choose which torrent going by comments and other peoples feed back.

Does anyone else do this?
