Hi, we had a new sofa delivered this morning which has finished our bungalow (bears hate stairs) facelift after a year of ongoing decorating-it's cost a small fortune but pleased it's all done at last, feet up for a while now :P

I thought this was going to be a thread about the impending demise of this section of the board...

Here, someone has dumped a load of old rail sleepers in your lounge Mr Bear
Looks very nice, bet Mrs Bear is a happy lady...for now.
Probably won't be long before your next assignment is dropped on your lap :)

Very nice. Mr Bear. Can't quite work out if the Gestapo device on the Tripod is for sound or light torture techniques. :o

Ta, I work for the railway, I like sleepers
We've re-done every room, nothing else to do!

It's a nice feeling when it's done and your free time is now your free time not the Bungalow's

We are 6 months into our downsize and complete Bungalow doer-upper should be done by August,
Then playtime.

Good choice of radiator , completely re vamped my mates kitchen early this year and managed to turn a disorganised kitchen into a kitchen diner and the crowning glory was a rad like that , he had never seen anything like it , wasn't convinced when I showed him the pic and only agreed to having it fitted after I told him I'd pay for it if he didn't like it , thankfully it's the first thing he shows any visitors !

Cheers Paul, we put one in the kitchen as well, it created wall space for the breakfast bar

No probs , I think they look great but they are a hard sell considering they are around ten times the price of a pressed steel cheapo , they free up a load of space on a wall that's useless anyway , and I do like a bit of modernism , I notice your just about open plan ?
