Loud noise when i put the top down.....

I think my top is going out. There is a very loud noise when it's going up and down and sometimes it doesn't go up or down. Anyone had this problem?

if the noise is only when it's down it might be the engine if it is that's normal.

i wish, the 2.5 doesn't really have a growl.... yet

But for real, i opened and closed it a couple of times and it seamed to work itself out. But i am still a little scared i fear the hydro is going out. Any suggestions?? If it goes i will have a manual top for a little while....

I had that problem too when putting the top down. After ditching the GF the noise went away 8)
