Hi all,
I have an 04 3.0i which in the last week or so suddenly feels like it’s lost 10-20% of its power. Full acceleration in 2nd gear used to push you back in the seat a fair bit but now it’s just climbs the revs more sedately. Still runs smoothly, no noises or issues I can see or hear. If someone who hadn’t driven it before got in they probably wouldn’t think there is an issue but I can definitely feel it’s abit down on power, even my wife agrees.
Would something like a vanos seal suddenly go without throwing a code?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
