Loose steering

Took the car to a private garage recommended by a friend and now I have the feeling that I need to turn the steering wheel more to turn the car around. And the car seems quite unstable and not sharp at all. Could they of played with suspension or steering settings? Any possible reasons for the being like this? I was used to the car being more responsible .

Also, they changed the front break pads and now seems to be taking longer to break now, even if they say my pads were 80% worn out. :headbang:

Is there any tests or measurements I could do for the steering? How many turn do you guys do for a 90 degree bend?

If all that was done was change pads then I'm clueless as to the steering issues. You might want to check your tire pressures because if they are off the car will feel different when cornering. About the brakes, give them time for bed in. The linked article might be of some help.

Running RFT. Something is quite wrong with steering, I'll take it back to the garage anyway.
