Loose BMW Wheel Badges

Morning All

Just a quick observation about loose fitting wheel badges. I have heard of a number of people who have lost these badges and all of mine were loose so I removed them and used some electrical shrink insulation on 4 of the prongs as below

This worked a treat, all nice and tight.

I had to do this on my Ford centre caps!! My Z4 ones were a bit loose but since being refurbished they're a snug fit

A few small dabs of silicone RTV stop mine spinning around

Funnily enough, I had the opposite problem on my e89 when changing the badges for new. One was so tightly wedged in I had to drill a hole in the middle of it to gain enough leverage...
