Always loved the look of the E85 Z4, and have decided it's time to take the plunge.

Pretty much decided it's the 2.5 I want, preferably facelift model but open to any good nick cars.

Just so you know the pre-facelift 2.5i was rated at 192bhp, the facelift 2.5Si was 218bhp but the facelift 2.5i was a detuned 2.5Si with just 177bhp (different inlet manifold IIRC) so if you find a facelift make sure you know which model it is!

Facelift 2.5Si is a good choice as they all have a 6 speed gearbox (pre-facelifts have 5) and if you find a Sport model it will have the desirable M-Sport seats which very few pre-facelifts have.

Don’t be deterred by the facelift 2.5i with just 177hp. If you are prepared to roll your sleeves up, it’s a relatively simple upgrade to Si spec, only requiring an Si manifold and a flash tune.
