Hi, i'm new to the forum and looking for a bit more information about Z4's so joined up. Having got everything else in my life mainly sorted out am now looking for a nice car. Have been looking at Boxsters and Z4's and think the Z4 is a better car and so am gonna go for that. However, i have a few questions. I have found a car i like with a dealer.
However, the original service history was lost so a duplicate has been stamped up. I'm wondering if this is ok or if it's a sign to be a little more careful?
What things shoul di be looking for to make sure it's a honest car. I understand there should be id numbers in the drivers footwell., on the windscreen and on the engine. Can anybody tell me exactly where these should be?
Also how can i tell it' s not a cloned car - look to make sure hasn't be filed away restamped etc?
Also, what else should i be looking out for.
