Our Mini Cooper Clubman developed a body control module fault yesterday. Mini sent a technician round last night (within a couple of hours of my wife calling them) and he managed to get it to stop flashing it's lights, randomly opening and closing windows and making bleeping noises. They arranged to collect it this morning for repair (can't fault their warranty service) and left us with a nice new 320d in it's place :)

The downside is it's a saloon so the Doodle isn't going to be too impressed with sitting on the back seat.

She decided the back seat wasn't suitable:

And that the front one was comfy enough to fall asleep in:

Good luck when you take the car back... When BMW gave me a loaner a couple of weeks back the form they gave me said no pets or they'd charge me for valeting the car!

What did you think of the 320d?

It was a hire car from Eneterprise provided by Coopers Mini dealership and the seat base was covered, just in case.

It was OK, comfy and felt very solid but a bit underpowered. It was an auto which I really don't like driving anyway. I won't be giving up the Mini or the Z for one anytime soon :)
