I've been trawling through the forum and trying to compile some answers to a couple of questions i have regarding some TLC to me Z4 and thought i would just ask outright as i've found a few conflicting answers :?
1) I'm going to change my 3rd brake light (currently red and has the classic edges cracked plus the right side LED's not fully functioning so this must be changed, do you think clear would be the better option? plus where about should i pick one up i have seen a few listed but all are from Latvia? has anyone got any experience dealing with parts shipped etc?
2) Suddenly as of the other day i could no longer unlock the car or boot with the buttons and have had to manually use the key since (a few weeks before this the battery went flat and i got a jump could this potentially be related??) i also have checked the two central locking fuses in the glove box and they are both fine, i haven't used the 2nd key since i bought the car so can't tell if its the fact that the car hasn't been charging the key since the battery went flat (hopefully that makes sense?) from what i've seen this could be the GM5 module etc, should i go to BMW or go to Hellfords etc? i live down in Eastbourne and don't know any good Indy's down this way as i originate from the Midlands, i've put up with it for 2 weeks now but just need to sort it haha :lol:
3) I'm keen to change the ginger side indicators and front indicators to clear, any advice on this would be much appreciated!!
4) I'm not sure how to show of my beauty in the signature on here? (computer idiot!! it took me long enough to re size my avatar picture lol!) and finally is anyone near eastbourne?? would love to meet up with other Z4 owners particularly now the sun is coming out!
