Thanks for checking that. I think I could live with the satin black when the rim is chrome. If full black then they would have to be gloss.

So I guess they are standard BMW parts (i.e. very expensive). Know of any decent aftermarket suppliers?
 
Had a look on Ebay but not many and quite pricey.
I think I'd start with a Wanted ad on here. there's always people swapping them over.
 
My Montego Blue E86 looked so much better after I swapped the OE kidney grilles with silver slats for a pair with black slats but still a chrome surround, and I think your 35is would look better with black as well.

But my MC came with full matt black kidneys and I think they look even better. All black may work better on your car too, but possibly gloss rather than matt?

Whatever you go for I hope you find some kidneys you like. :thumbsup:
