Looking for BMW Z4 3.0

Hello all

I have been searching for a while for a low mileage 3.0 from 2004/2005 for less than £8000.

(I have been ignoring auto cars-I heard they were harder to sell on is that right?)

Has anyone got any ideas about where to look?

Also, what should I look for if I go and see one?

Hi, thanks for response!

I was hoping for less than 50,000. I live in London and would prefer not to go more than 120 miles to get one.

They do pop up on the forum now and then i know there's a car on now but i think it done 75k

I have an 04 3.0i se, mileage is higher than you want (78k) but thought I'd give you a headsup :D

There are currently 6 on Autotrader ... 3 litre, up to £9k, some under £8k and up to 40k miles.

Your car looks great but I would prefer a lower spec so I can get the lower mileage.

Thanks anyway

I wouldn't be put off that car because of the millage. It has a lot of things in its favor. Just from a quick look aero bumper M alloys m seats. Great colour combo. If i didn't have one i would be snapping chester2000 arm off for that. As long as they have been serviced there was a can on hear i am lead to believe had done 200k. the only reason its not driving around now. Someone drove into it.

I would really prefer lower miles Thanks

What's the opinion on this one?

Here's my opinion...

Just because a car has low milage doesnt mean it will last longer. I'd rather take a car on 76k that has been loved (and most forum cars have - if you're geeky enough to be on here you obviously look after your pride and joy) than one on 50k that has been driven hard from cold and perhaps abused a little.

From the spec - Chesters' car looks great and a great colour combo to boot with some nice mods. The only downside is the lack of heated seats, but they are //M seats.

Thats said, it;s a better looking car and a grand cheaper to boot. Perhaps spend that on a hard top or something else. The ebay car would take some spending to get it looking as good.

Dose not look bad apart from the dash but that's just a personal thing.

Silver and red seem to be the least popular and would probably be harder to sell on.

Personally I ruled out any with the charcoal roof when I was looking as I much prefer the black, but that might just be me.
