Looking for a Z4MC

The grey car featured had a damaged front bumper(nose section), worn interior, flat battery and was generally tatty when i looked last winter so no great loss.

The dealer is also very poorly run IMO i placed a deposit on a Roadster last year with "FSH" but after placing a deposit i was told the service book was lost and they would order a replacement. This soon transpired into i could order a replacement so i did a bit of digging and found out the car had previously been wrapped white, had been purchased at auction and didn't have a service book. It also turned out that instead of an inspection II an inpsection I was given and that the car had been in the showroom for 9 months since, during this episode i made it clear i wouldn't proceed without "FSH".

Then they tried taking money out of my deposit for "prep" after they couldn't obtain the service book, the service history was wrong/ unavailable/incomplete and after being told i would have to pay forthe first three months warranty (SOGA applies so its for their benefit).

All very dubious and i would avoid purchasing from them.

Thanks! That is one to avoid then. I wonder who bought the grey one then, especially at the price they had it up for if it was in poor shape.
 
Good cars seem to be selling quick whether Roadster/Coupe.

Last year most cars started highish in terms of price and then dropped before selling lately it seems they generally start lower and good examples sell quick. From experience it is a waiting game and it also depends on how willing you are to compromise on spec or pay a little more for the "right" car.

I think Z3M's are a contributing factor and the fact that there is no immediate rival new from BMW. Even if a new E89 Z4M was launched I'd say it would still have a different target market to the E85/E86. The only obvious car used is the Cayman/Boxster but Boxsters are generally seen as softer and Caymans are still £20k or so for a decent one.
