Managed to get BMW tools up and running on my laptop. Let's just say Mein Deutsch ist nicht so glücklich. I can use inpa, but NCS isn't playing the game whatsoever (have read guides and watched YouTube tutorials).

I'd like to activate the on board computer and reflash the ECU to 2.5Si.

Happy to travel, and happy to supply beer vouchers and home made cheesecake (as long as you like Vanilla).

I had success today for the first time using NCS, used this thread and the link to this Guide within and got what I wanted done, but it was nothing as consequential as a full re-flash

You do need SP-Daten files loaded into the software to allow it to function in NCSExpert and NCSDummy that displays the resultant read files in English. I have all the software and have had a dabble but by no means an expert at using it fully its rather clunky to use let alone setting it up. Some good Youtube videos on how to operate some of the simple things it can code.
