Looking for a cheap Z4

Hi

This is my first notice on this forum so hi to everybody. I am looking to buy a cheap Z4. I’ve got 8k ready an waiting.. Either a 2.5 or 3.0. Before I get lots of replies from people letting me know that for 8k I’ve no chance… I already know that 8k isn’t a lot of money so positive responses would be appreciated. If somebody is looking to sell at my kind of money, please let me know.

A little about me..

I’m UK born and bread but work for an American company based in Spartanburg SC with their head quarters just down the road from the Z4 X5 factory. I saw the car in the flesh before most UK people and consequently in 2003 I ordered a 2.5 with 108 alloys, xenons, leather, upgraded stereo etc and ran this along side my company SRI vectra for a year. In that year I did 10,000 miles in the Z4 and 60,000 in the Vectra. Since then I’ve had 2 x VX220. The first was an ex demo 2.2 and the second was a turbo. Personally I loved the 2.2 and thought the turbo was unpredictable.. Since the Vx's I’ve bought a conservatory, got married, moved and I’m now a proud father. I’ve now saved some pennies and I’d like to re-live 2003… so if you’ve a cheap stunner. Let me know.

Nice story and desire to get back into a Z4. Well £8k will just get you into a 3.0i . Check Ebay and there are a few on sale, or just above that figure.

Will you get a 'cheap stunner' for that price? Not sure but if you compromise on extras you might be in luck. 6 months ago most would have laughed but it's a buyers market and prces have dropped like a stone.
 
Like everything at the moment it's a buyers market. My brother has a 2006 Z4M coupe in black which is worth a fraction of what he paid 2 years ago..

i saw that 3.0 on auto trader too, shame its an auto, also insurance is a bit high for me, i think the 2.5 will be my limit.
