Totally disagree. Buy the right run about and the cost next to nowt to run. Closer to 300-400 for an old git with cheap insurance.
Sure if you buy a old fast car they cost a bomb to run. So don't :wink:
Works even better, if you want to keep your Zed a long while as it does keep the miles off. It's not just about saving money. If I had only driven my Zed, since I bought it would be on 90-100k by now and 150k in a few years time and possibly become uneconomical to maintain.
So I'm keeping my old run about, even if mines not very economical.
