Looking for a 35iS

After a year of incredible ownership in my Z4MR I'm getting the itch to try something different, having test drove an 2011 E92 M3 DCT at the weekend and being massively underwhelmed I think I'm after a 35iS to curb my urge for a DCT.

I may well hold onto my MR until spring 2016, will just have to see how things go, anyway, if anyone is looking to sell their 35iS I'd be really interested to chat with you.

My criteria so far is ideally white, silver or grey exterior, I'd love coral red leather too. DCT is a must, as is less than 30k miles & for it to be the M Sport model with the 19" alloys. Whether it's a 60 plate or a 15 plate I'm not too fussed, I'm just after the right car that's got a good spec & has been looked after.

I bought my Z4MR from shortfuse2 on here & its been a dream to own so far, I would love it to go to a forum member again, likewise I'd love to buy a 35iS forum car

Check with Z4m-2006 as he will be looking to move on next year as well.

Tgarvie... All 35is models have DCT and are M sport models so no worries there..

White is common, not so much silver or grey.
Space grey was only done for 1 year, I think mineral grey superceeded it.

Most have great spec, but they do vary wildly.. The amount of extras you can spec is bewildering... So read up and see what is important to you..
 
Have you considered a 135I? I have a top spec 135I DCT (white with red leather) with a few choice performance mods and cant recommend one enough. I've got an the Focus RS on order now so will sadly be selling mine in the not too distant future.

Hi Tom, What sort of price are you looking to pay? I have a Mineral Grey with Coral high spec 35is. Its a 15 car with low miles. It isn't current for sale, but i'd never say never. I know that there are almost none of these around. It took me months to find one!

I don't want to spend more than £30k and ideally around £25k if I'm really honest, I've seen a few 15/65 plates for 32-34k on auto trader so clearly dealers are sorting some pretty huge discounts at the moment that's pushing the used market down, when are you considering selling?

Hi, i haven't had it long myself and still love it. You should be able to push for big discounts on any pre registered car in the bmw network. Ring them and be persistent if you find one you like. I tried everything inthe book over two weeks to get this car. A 35i would mske a nice car at a much cheaper price. :thumbsup:

I got mine 6 month ago with 1500 miles on the clock pre registered by the dealer for £33K. Took 2 months of haggling but at £52K new on the road price I think I got a decent deal.
 
Thanks for all the help so far guys, have spoken with a few people so far, as I said, if anyone is considering selling in the next 6 months do let me know, I'm in no rush but am keen to buy the right car from the forum again! Pre-registered would be lovely but I'll do 10k miles a year on the car as my daily driver so depreciation for me will be quite hard, I think I'd prefer to buy a car with 10-25k miles on it in the first place?

Thanks, not to everyones taste especially the interior which even I wasn't sure about at first. Certainly turns heads.
