Well, sods law. Got a decent insurance quote and rang the dealer. Car sold this afternoon. :x

Sorry to hear this. It did look a decent price, not surprised it sold quickly.

Did wonder if putting the ad details up on here may have been my undoing. With work commitments and kids etc, I couldn't have got down until Sunday anyway... :(

No, I wouldn't have thought so. Any serious buyers would have already known about the car.

I would agree that with that mileage it's not going to make a whole load of difference who has serviced it, but as suggested, the lack of FBMW history gives you a bargaining chip. You should, however, get some confirmation re mileage - after all, that is why you'll be paying a premium price.

Despite mine being black with black, I would actually have preferred cream interior. As someone wrote in a recent thread: why are so many interiors black - it cannot be only to prepare us for the inside of coffins!

Pity that if has the wrong roof!

Also isn't the lacquer peeking off the side badges and surround ?

.............reflection from the white line on the road.... :)

Yes but the badge is also shot as it has blown in other places.

Irrelevant now though as car has sold.

Sorry to hear you missed out OP. not to worry yours will come along soon,

out of interest does anyone know how this car was stored?

Where its been kept for most of its life I suppose....so garage, damp dry/ out on the road. Not saying its been stored but conditions affect a car esp low mileage..
