Whats the best way you guys do it? Do you clean it with just water or do you use anything special which protect it and makes it look nice and black.

+1

If a bird s**ts on it theres only one thing to do. Remove it asap and clean the entire fabric or a clear patch will blatently show.

Second that! Its Brilliant and does the job perfect

Don't get the BMW stuff

I just the Renovo cleaner today. Really easy, and brought off all the green mould and the bird poo ! Then waterproofed it with the Autoglym stuff. Took less than an hour including waiting 20 minutes for the Maguires to work - really pleased with it :D

Been covered many times before so perhaps run some searches.

My preference is Ragtopp cleaner and protector. Once per year and she's just had her 10th birthday and looks almost as new.

P.s. roof is now lovely and black, almost like new and it's 8 years old. The rain seems to be forming nice beads on it and running off. Job's a good one :-) . Body work getting sorted Friday weather permitting and them to finish off it's some TLC for the leather.

i bought a set of these that work well in getting 'bits' off the roof

I have a few shiny operating marks on my roof, is there any stuff you guys and gals know of that will mask/remove them?

I have the autoglym kit but not used it yet will this do the job?
