I'm waiting for a quote to fit it from Peter Van Der Veer - a garage in Marsden that was recommended by forum members.
 
One of the best things you'll buy for your Z4 if you do any long drives :thumbsup: worth every penny.

I done 450 miles to Scotland and only turned it off for service station visits :lol:

I cant wait to get it fitted - its simplicity is perfect: depress the end to set the speed, then push forwards to speed up, pull towards to slow down I'm guessing?

The only thing I miss with the Z4 cruise control is the dash indicator ,I've only used mine a few times since I bought it from Sopers about 4 yrs ago.Reason for buying it then was the price £66 making it a cheap upgrade.

yep. and up and down to switch off.
Would be perfect if it was speed-adaptive as I love using it but here in Holland people have an incredibly irritating habit of overtaking you just to slow down in front of you again. Absofkglutely infuriating and I still don't understand why they do it!
Can anyone shed any light? PVR? other dutchies???
 
never used mine :D ...well maybe once to check it worked, tend to only use the zed for fun so not ever really on motorways with it...sure it will come in handy one day :D

That's what I thought Colin, but the button on the end is resume last set speed, you push away to set. Many a time I have blinded the oncoming cars or the car in front flicking onto main beam instead of setting the speed.

Not quite - Push it towards the front of the car at the desired speed to engage; will disengage either by braking or pushing the lever up/down; re-engage at the previous set speed by depressing the end.

I noticed the same when I lived there. I just overtook them back, on the basis that they slowed down to admire my car and so it was my duty to overtake and let them get another good look.
 
I love my cruise control. Use it frequently when on the motorway. If every car had it as standard and everybody used it correctly I think the motorways would be much safer also. :)
