Well now I've taken my little sister out in the Zed for a Christmas drive that'll be it for the evening as it's time for my first drink! Merry Christmas to the extended Zed family!

Just ensure you remove and redo the tyre valves every week or so, otherwise they will be welded on in no time.

I remove mine at that frequency after a fellow forum member had to have his valves cut off as they got stuck.

b]Thanks for the tip pvr[/], will do - I did think that might be the case - think I need to start checking tyre pressures more often so a good excuse to do both often!

Thanks marchantsuk, LeeZ4MR, ebay is great for this kind of stuff - though avoid aeroblades - tried a pair and they were flimsy compared to the OEM ones, didn't have the heavy metal plate on the driver's side blade that I do on my ///M and made a horrendous racket when sweeping, even with a clean windscreen - avoid at all costs! Will be posting mine back asap!!!

Sadly, I couldn't do the sound generator mod as when popping the bonnet to find the sound generator I noticed it wasn't there!!! Anyone else with an '06 M notice this?

There is no sound generator in an M though, only in the 3.0.

We get "real" sound anyway 8)
