Look what I bought

I bought a load of 6watt LED lights for outside, they look just like normal lights and give a very warm light - but costing nothing to run.

I think they actually may be 6W, I know he as fitted LED up lighters in the rockery and definitely the lamp post is 6W cos i checked that yesterday

there are 2 big spot lights which I need to wire into the alarm system, they obviously won't be 6W

6watt is quite light - this is taken in the middle of the night with no lights in the area. Total 10 off the 6watt lights.

i will get my ladders out and check the spot lights at weekend, I've got quite a bit of work to finish on the external lighting

i want to control the lights via remote control so i can switch them on and off from my house

I do the same with some of my lights - they are switched via my phone. You do need an internet connection to the garage though.

there are 4 telephones in there lol, my mate is coming at weekend to re route the cable from the sellers house to mine, its not a seperate line just an extension cable

Taz - get a CAT 6 cable from your house to the garage, you can extend your internet into that building which will be great for watching TV as well to complete your man cave

digiGate

I use them for my gates, garages and lights. Schedule the times, switch them on and off via the phone as well whenever I am outside. Whoever you grant access can do the same (i.e. when your friend picks up his car for example).

i definitely need to look into it then

how does the alarm work with digigate?

Would it be worth putting one car in forwards so you can get both cars close up to the side wall leaving maximum gap in the middle

i do intend doing that but for my first pics i wanted everything neat and tidy lol

the only negative is the width, another 2 foot would have been great, but there would not have been an additional parking spot outside for a motor home
